A Little Big
The doctors were concerned. They told me I was measuring too big. Well, no kidding!! (I thought loudly to myself!) I hope you didn't waste hundreds of thousands of dollars and years of your life in school to come up with that diagnosis alone. I could have told them I was big! I am borderline huge! So they remeasured (31 inches when it should have been 27) and scheduled an ultrasound. I was pretty happy about the sonogram, I wanted to know what my little gymnast had been trying to push out of my skin lately. So, at the ultrasound, the technician told me all was well, not too much fluid, just a big baby. According to her he's 3 lbs when he should be 1.5-2 lbs and he's longer than usual. We are not sure how this can be as neither Greg nor I are on the tall side! Throwback genes from relatives I guess :) At the top of the picture you can see our not-so-little guy's knee - which is what we have been watching circling my belly for the past week. Ouch! Ten more weeks.
