Who Knew ?!

I have a love of all things green. I get so excited when the ground thaws and I can start planting things and taking inventory of the plants that did (or did not) make it through the excruciatingly long winter. Two (or maybe three) years ago we went down to Texas and visited my grandparents Memar and Pawpaw. They took us to Fredricksburg to see the most amazing flower garden and shop I have EVER seen. Y'all know how they do it in Texas... the bigger the better. I bought bluebonnet seeds, choosing not to listen to the nay-sayers telling me they will never grow, it will only break your heart and waste your money. Well folks, they did grow. And grow. And grow. They keep coming back, bigger each year. This is their second (or third) year, and though they look purple, they are actually bluebonnets blooming yet again!

It's a boy!

This morning we had our latest ultrasound and the technician confirmed what I had been thinking for quite a while now. We have a little boy on the way. I guess we will have to make room for blues and camouflage. I've already been told he will be trained as a duck hunting fisherman! He's healthy with all parts proportioned and intact. Tons of pictures were taken of all the organs and limbs, but we were only given 2 of them... if you squint you can see his profile. Now for the name game and shaking down the banking industry to add on a second room!
