Off Like a Dirty Shirt!

Like a true Tietjen, the child cannot sit still. Tanner's good friend Piper Shearer gave us a scooter car (a walker that looks more like a little car). It's been true love ever since! He zooms all over the house in his little car, laughing and squealing the whole time.

Later 'gator!

I'm starving Momma!!

After our 4 month check up (and round of shots :( ) The doctor told us that developmentally Tanner is functioning like a 5 or 6 month old (what a genious! Hahaha) and that he could start trying rice cereal and then veggies and fruits. At a whopping 16 lbs 8 oz, I'm thinking this not-so-little guy is hungry. Of course the boy was born hungry and we've been trying to keep up ever since. Our first try with the rice cereal was comical to say the least. You would think I was trying to force feed him green eggs and ham or something! Rice cereal was EVERYWHERE. All over him, the counter, the seat, me, even the cat got caught in the crossfire. Maurice will think twice before coming around during feeding time!

I don't know about this. Are you sure this is safe?

Well, maybe I might like it.

Alright, just one more bite.

I DO like it Sam I Am!

I would eat them in a box, I would eat them with a fox! I would eat them here and there. I would eat them ANYWHERE!

It's going to take us longer to clean up than it did for me to eat this!

Round 2 went a little better. I found the space saver high chair (thanks Carrie) and sat him up a little straighter.

I'm ready Momma, are you?

Not so much, big guy... could you slow it down a little for me? ;)

We're IN!!

There are still a few things left to do on the "punch list" but we are back in our casa trying to unpack and find things. Once the final inspection is done, I can start hanging things on the wall. but in the mean time here's what we have so far...

Just need a few closet doors from ikea to finish off our closets in our room.
