It's official, we have finally completed the last step in our house renovation - the bathroom. Let me tell you how tough it is to renovate your only bathroom. As you can see, though, it was painfully necessary. It's been six months of blood, sweat, tears and splinters, but we finished. Just in time to put on an emergency addition! In our grand plans, we thought we would have a couple of years construction-free living. God laughed at us. So now we must scramble to add a few more "square foots" to our tiny, but cozy home. Guess we should shower off before they disconnect the water and power to jack up the house and dig out a basement, or "understory" as I like to call it. Honestly, if I call it a basement it will feel too creepy and I will never go down there!
